• 1.0 branch is the legacy stable branch. Only needed if you want to keep compatibility with old servers. Last release is 1.0.54.
• 1.2 branch is the ancient stable branch. Last release is 1.2.34.
• 1.4 branch is the up to date stable branch. Last release is 1.4.14.
In most case, you'll need this one.

• 1.5 is the current development branch and may be unstable. You may took this one only if you are a developer or want to live on the bleeding edge.

Check in the package matrix if your system has some packages available. If so, you'd better trying to use them because you won't have to care about compiling pike and its dependencies.

Otherwise, you may build Caudium from source.

Latest Caudium is 1.4.14 you can download the sources here.

• 1.0 branch is the ancient stable branch. You need this one if you want to keep compatibility with old servers or if you want stable-proven software.
• 1.2 branch is still in devel, but is numbered 1.2 because it is not far from frozen state. This branch may require some extra work compared to the 1.0, but you'll take some performance and templating advantages.
